This is a random collection of ten documentaries, with my description of each. I post a different documentary, every time I watch a new one. To prevent the documentary page from taking an extremely long time to load, I create separate pages for older documentaries. This is page 8.
The Soviet Story(added 07/13/14) The Soviet Story is a look into the brutality, propaganda, and reign, of the Soviet Union. This film covers various Soviet atrocities, such as the extermination of the Ukrainians of 1932-'33, through deliberate starvation. This documentary also makes the case that there was little difference between German National Socialism (Nazism), and Soviet Communism, this point even being admitted to by high level leaders of both parties. The propaganda of both of these regimes is compared, and there is an obvious relation. Other topics of discussion include: Zyklon B, George Bernard Shaw, Trotsky's assassination, Soviet aggression against Finland, and much more. One major problem with this documentary, or at least the version that I have seen, is that a good amount of the documentary is in a foreign language, with no subtitles. I managed to sit through this inconvenience, but would not expect many other people to do so.
The Great Culling: Our Water Official Full Movie(added 07/05/13) "The Great Culling" is one of the best documentaries I have seen regarding the toxic waste, sodium fluoride, that is in the public water supply in many of America's cities. This documentary covers everything, from the history of water fluoridation, to the side effects, as well as the current fight to get cities, and towns, to stop adding fluoride to the water supply. This film also includes interesting footage from an interview of infamous propagandist, Edward Bernays, about how he used propaganda to get women to start smoking cigarettes in the early 20th century.
Effeminization of the Black Male Part 1 - History of "Homosexuality"(added 06/15/13) This is part one of a lecture given by a man that goes by the name of "Irritated Genie", on the history of homosexuality, African history, and more. While I do not agree with many of his views, I believe he offers valuable information, as well as insight to a different view on American culture, and culture in general. However, the fact that he calls for the killing of groups of people, makes me believe he may be some sort-of agent provocateur.
Representing the communities of Cheshire, Southington, Wolcott, and Waterbury, State Senator Joe Markley (R-16th) has, in my opinion, one of the best records of any representative in Hartford. Markley has a history of supporting liberty, even helping to organize a protest against the creation of the state income tax in 1991, that drew 40,000 people to the State Capitol.
Elected in 2010, winning re-election in 2012, and having served one term in the mid 80's, Markley is currently in his third term as a State Senator. The Tea Party movement is credited with helping Markley get back into office. The CTMirror lists Markley's occupation as a writer, and reports, "When recruited by Tea Party activists, Markley said, he was living cheaply at a friend's apartment in western Massachusetts, working on a novel "about what I think is wrong with society."
Senator Markley has stood in opposition to many of the, in my opinion, tyrannical, anti-liberty actions being undertaken by the state. For instance, he has been one of the strongest critics of the New Britain-Hartford busway, also known as the CTFastrak, which I have written about, connecting the busway to United Nations Agenda 21, a plan to lower the standard of living in America.
Markley has also criticized Senator Gary Lebeau for his constant advocacy for big government, as well as Lebeau's involvement in the state income tax, and Lebeau's helping "push through the largest tax increase in state history." I have also criticized Senator Gary Lebeau, in the past, for his involvement in trying to bring red light cameras to the state, as well as his overall belief that he has a "significant role", as a legislator, to "change the culture" of people, and their belief about things like guns, or the way they care for their children.
When Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy announced, last month, his list of five proposals, in regards to gun control, he was criticized for trying to exploit the school shooting in Newtown, to push his own agenda. Senator Markley was among those critical of the governor. "There’s no reason to rush proposals unless there was an intent to push stricter gun control legislation from the start", Markley said, as well as implying the governor rushed his proposals because he felt the support for gun control was waning.
Even more promising are the list of bills proposed by Senator Markley for the 2013 session of the Connecticut legislature. Among them include:
Getting fluoride out of the water supply - Senate Bill 131 - AN ACT ELIMINATING THE REQUIREMENT TO ADD FLUORIDE TO PUBLIC WATER SUPPLIES.
Making sure employers can't require employees receive a flu shot - Senate Bill 55 - AN ACT PROHIBITING EMPLOYERS FROM REQUIRING EMPLOYEES TO RECEIVE MANDATORY FLU SHOTS.
Stopping banks from charging a fee for check cashing - Senate Bill 107 - AN ACT PROHIBITING BANKS FROM CHARGING A FEE FOR CHECK CASHING.
Eliminating government agencies/Reducing the size of government - Senate Bill 113 & Senate Bill 258 - AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELIMINATION OF A CENTRALIZED OFFICE OF PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION & AN ACT ELIMINATING THE COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND OPPORTUNITIES.
The issue of marijuana legalization, and ending the war on drugs, is an important aspect for many in the fight for liberty, including myself, however I do not believe Senator Joe Markley feels the same. Last year he voted "NAY" against a medical marijuana bill, AN ACT CONCERNING THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA, that was eventually passed and signed by the governor. I have not seen, or heard, any comments from Joe Markley, regarding marijuana, or the war on drugs, so I can't make any definitive statements on his views towards these subjects, however it would be disappointing if we found out that Senator Markley only embraces liberty in select areas, and not in its entirety.
Here is an interview of State Senator Joe Markley, conducted last month, by the good folks at We Are Change CT, concerning Markleys proposed bill dealing with the elimination of water fluoridation in the state.
Let us hope that Senator Markley continues to be a voice for liberty, pushing for less government. We have to support people that share our beliefs, in hopes that it will encourage more people to come out, and speak up. Either way, I'll be watching, and reporting.

I walked into Walmart in the town of Naugatuck, CT and seen a whole display of Nursery® Water with added fluoride, bring promoted to mothers, with newborn babies, "to mix with formula and cereal", and being a "good source of drinking water for your child." I have done past research on the negative effects of fluoride consumption, and here I will list reasons NOT to use water with added fluoride, especially for a baby.
- According to Center for Disease Control's (CDC) own government website, “Fluoride intake from water and other fluoride sources, such as toothpaste and mouthrinses, during the ages when teeth are forming (from birth through age 8) can result in changes in the appearance of the tooth’s surface called dental fluorosis……Recent evidence suggests that mixing powdered or liquid infant formula concentrate with fluoridated water on a regular basis may increase the chance of a child developing the faint, white markings of very mild or mild enamel fluorosis." A ten year study conducted by the CDC, that ended in 2002, showed a nine percent increase in dental fluorosis. Dental fluorosis, which is usually small white streaks, or stains, in your teeth, may not seem like a big deal, but could be an indication that your body is receiving too much fluoride. Over consumption of fluoride can also lead to skeletal fluorosis, a bone disease caused by excessive consumption of fluoride. Interestingly, fluorosis is more severe among black children, in comparison to white or Latin children, but the CDC can find 'no clear explanation', why that is.
- The average level of fluoride in breast milk is 0.019 +/- 0.004 ppm (parts per million). Nursery® Water has a fluoride level of up to 0.7 ppm. That means that Nursery® water has anywhere between 30x to 150x more fluoride than your baby would receive through breast milk. Unlike most of Europe, most major cities in the United States add fluoride to their water. The city of Waterbury, CT, adds fluoride to their water at a similar level to Nursery® Water, 0.79 to 1.11 ppm. The Nursery Water website has a recommendation for parents who are concerned about fluoride: "If parents or caregivers are concerned about the fluoride level intake of their children, the ADA recommends mixing baby formula with water that is fluoride free or contains low levels of fluoride."
There is a wide range of information available regarding fluoride, the dangers, the history of water fluoridation, etc., that, I believe, everyone should be interested in. The best resource I have come across regarding fluoridation, is a book by Christopher Bryson, titled "The Fluoride Deception". It is available to view online, as a .pdf, here.
On a positive note, in the January 2013 session of the Connecticut General Assembly, CT Senator Joe Markley of the 16th District, proposed an AN ACT ELIMINATING THE REQUIREMENT TO ADD FLUORIDE TO PUBLIC WATER SUPPLIES.
